Blackout Hubbub

Well, those of us who are fans of Viacom programming and subscribe to Time Warner Cable can now rejoice, they signed a deal.
Time Warner had characterized Viacom's request for a 12 percent
increase in fees as exorbitant in this economy, and claimed it was a
move meant to offset sagging ratings and ad revenue for its
programming. Viacom noted that its demanded increase totaled just $2.76
annually per subscriber.
What gets me is total cost to the end consumer is not anymore than what we have come to expect from TWC in rate hikes, so why should we complain about this?
