Freebie Friday: Free Games (well, kinduv, sort of)

Since my first computer, I've been an avid gamer. So, today, I thought I'd share two of my favorite online games that you don't have to pay a dime for, if you don't want to.

Runescape: This is probably the most popular online free multi-player games around. Of course, if you want to enjoy the game even more, you could pay and get more out of the game (USD$5.95 / GBP£3.50 / EUR5.95), but the free content is still good. I've been playing this game off and on for about 5 years and it just keeps getting more awesome. You advance your character by building up skills that are not just limitted to fighting and killing. There are lots of things you can do, and when pay the small fee, it expands what you can do even more. The fact that the developers are adding new content each month is what keeps this game interesting. Sign up for a free account and check them out, you won't be sorry.

Dungeon Runners: Okay,so you don't have as many options in this game, but what you do get is way better graphics. Runescape has just ventured into the realm of "3D" where this game has been that way from the beginning. You can play a a figher, mage, or ranger. Each has advantages and disatvantages that can be easily overcome when playing in a group. The bonus to this game is the tounge in cheek atmosphere of the game. Most players will get the humour of it all. And, again, you can (if you choose), pay to play and get more advantages over the free players. For all it's mirth, this game is worth checking out.
