Silas, The Book Store Cat

For a long time, whenever you went to A Novel Idea Bookstore in Lincoln, NE,
you were greeted by the resident cat, Silas. The story goes that he just walked into the back of the store one day in 1995 and claimed the store as his own. He was one of the downtown area's most beloved icons and brought many visitors to the store.

On Febuary 16, Silas passed over the Rainbow Bridge after suffering from the affects of his advanced years.

Silas, you will be missed by all who loved you. Thank you for being there for us to enjoy.

(Sorry if this sounds a bit jerky, but I have had a hard time composing this in the first place.)
(I hope that Michael Cornelius won't mind me using his photo.)
